The SwiftPaws Pro Sport is a professional-grade lure coursing machine designed for commercial use by dog trainers, daycares, and local clubs running shorter courses.

Note: The Pro Sport is not made to run FCAT or other similarly long competitive courses, but it's perfect for Precision Coursing, 50-yard dash style courses, training scenarios, and fun-run events.

Our SwiftPaws Professional machines are manufactured in small batches and normally run on about a 4-week lead time for ordering.

Built on the exact same heavy-duty chassis as our top-tier Pro Alpha model, it features a 7.5-amp motor (instead of the Pro Alpha's 10-amp motor) tailored for everyday event use, offering an accessible, budget-friendly workhorse for your business.

Key features & why they matter

• Custom aluminum housing: We upgraded our professional line from plastic to aluminum and gave it a professional bedliner-coated main body and powder-coated accents because our internal mechanics were outliving their housings! Built to handle heavy field use and withstand the elements, some of our original 2012 builds are still running in the field today.
• 7.5-amp commercial motor: Purpose-built to run courses up to 200 yards long at speeds up to 45 mph. Note: real-world physical resistance affects speed. Tall grass, exceptionally long lines, more than 10 pulleys on the course, and excess line tension add load to the system, which will naturally slow the motor down.
• Continuous exhaust cooling: A small internal cooling fan runs when the machine is plugged in, drawing fresh air through the housing and exhausting it out the side. The hum you hear when plugging it in is this cooling system — the actual motor fan only spins when you pull the trigger.
• Power-tool style trigger control: The controller features a pressure-sensitive trigger adapted directly from heavy-duty power tools. It works exactly like a gas pedal — the harder you squeeze, the faster the lure moves, giving you absolute manual precision over the pace of the run.
• Locked directional switch: Includes a tactile toggle switch to reverse directions instantly. For safety, this switch mechanically locks while the trigger is engaged so you can't accidentally flip directions while squeezing the trigger.
• Built-in power meter: Features an integrated digital volt-amp-hertz meter right on the main chassis. This allows you to verify you're drawing clean, stable power from your outlet, generator, or extension cord and lets you diagnose any power supply issues before they have a chance to damage the motor.
• Mix-and-match pulley options: The kit includes both our heavy-duty pro pulleys (designed with two bearings and made with an automotive, glass-filled plastic to withstand extreme temperatures and built to sit higher off the ground) and our standard nylon home pulleys (single bearing, lower profile). Both styles are fully enclosed to keep paws away from spinning parts and utilize safety tethers that give way dynamically on contact.
• Compatibility note: Pro Sport and Pro Alpha controllers are wired differently internally and are not interchangeable. Each unit is clearly labeled to prevent mixing them up.

After the first year, we offer repairs or replacement at-cost for the lifetime of the machine. If you ever damage a component or wear it down years later, we'll rebuild it for you and you only pay what those repairs or replacement parts cost us.
